Gervase Ndoko My Sympathy to The Ndoko Family August 16, 2011

To The Ndoko Family,

It is with so much dismay that I have learnt of the transitioning of your beloved sister, albeit on her second annivesary.  I have not been in so much pain for a long time, and believe me that I know what that pain is for I also lost my younger sister, and my father has already gone on too; so I am no stranger to the pain of death even as unique as that pain is with everyone who passes on. What a loss!

I have gone through every section of this celebration of your dear sister's life, and I kept saying to myself "I knew her, I knew her," and how my heart sank within me, even as my eyes welled with tears as I gazed at her pictures and read all that has been said about this gem.   What can I say other than to pray that you find the strength to live with such a loss.  Her pictures, and all that friends and family have said about this gracious lady, say it all.

May we all learn from her demise and try to prepare ourselves for our own day to which every passing hour brings us closer. It is this kind of loss, my dear friend, that makes especially poignant that truth about the meaninglessness of life itself, especially if it is not spent in the service of our lord. Accept my very profound sympathy.

The Orji Family Ashia To The Ndoko Family August 16, 2011

Words are never sufficient to express the grief felt...even in memorials of precious souls like Annie's....yet these words must be spoken...to soothe those of us who loved her...and to encourage those of us who miss her dearly. To Paa and Maa Ndoko, we the ORJI family who you once knew in Buea in the 70s ask you to take heart. Annie's picture gallery brought back deep memories of our years in Buea. As we wipe away a tear from each of our eyes, we say to you and the entire Ndoko family "Ashia". To my friend, classmate and brother Gervase, I also say take heart...for I know how you loved your sister and how protective you were of her. May God's comforting hand uphold your family daily and may He heal you fully as you continue to keep Annie's memories alive.
Blessings from

Enanga Ekosso The bad reaper August 14, 2011

An Igbo proverb says death is a bad reaper; he harvests the unripe fruit.

I remember Mama Annie as a very well groomed woman with a good heart. I cannot believe it's been two years already.

I do not grieve for her; she is gone from us, but my heart goes out especially to Ma and Pa Ndoko. I can only imagine what it must be to bury your own child.

God be with them.

Hannah Williams and family Ashia! August 13, 2011

Dear Gervase, Edwin and the rest of the Ndoko family,
Our prayer for your family is that God will continue to grant you His grace and peace as you live on without your sister.
May the pain brought by the loss continue to heal even as you keep her memories alive.
Edwin Brother August 12, 2011

Ma Annie,

There’s no way I can even try to imagine what you are going through. All I can do is pray and depend on the Lord to renew your spirits and provide you with what you need.

Your Brother
Edwin~Daniel.
